As you step into the great room you are immediately struck by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as seen through the expansive windows covering the back wall of this room. Decorated with local artwork and wildlife photography, this large living space contains a sitting room, kitchen, and dining area all sharing a spectacular mountain view. There is also access to the main deck and the serenity of the Smokies.
The main sitting area has two large recliners that invite you to sink into them as well as a sofa with recliners. These are all positioned in front of a beautiful stone gas fireplace. There is also a 48" Smart TV and DVD player for your viewing pleasure.
The fully-equipped kitchen comes complete with everything that you'll require to prepare and serve a delicious home cooked meal. You'll find all the appliances, cookware, cutlery, serving pieces, glassware, and dinnerware that you'll need (and more)! Once cooked you can enjoy your meal at the dining table for six placed right next to the windows with a view of Mt. LeConte.
Doe & Buck King Suite
The beautifully decorated Doe & Buck suite contains an immensely comfortable King size bed, dresser, and large walk-in closet. There is also a 42" TV and a DVD player for your enjoyment. One whole wall contains windows and your own private door onto the main deck. There really is nothing better than waking up to the mountain view.
This suite has its own attached bath with low threshold shower. This shower also contains a seat making it very elderly friendly. There is also a deep soaker tub for relaxing in after a long day in town or out hiking a trail.
Woodlands King Suite
The Woodlands suite is decorated with the work of local watercolor artist Vern Hippensteal. This bedroom contains a very comfortable King size bed, dresser, and large walk-in closet. For your entertainment you'll find a 40" TV and DVD player. Wake each morning to a view of the Smoky Mountains.
This suite also has its own attached bath with tub/shower combo. All bathrooms provide towels, hand soap, a starter soap, and a one use bottle of shampoo.
Main Covered Deck
The main deck is where our guests spend much of their time. It is quite large with plenty of places to sit and relax morning, noon, and night. This deck is angled making it feel very private. It almost embraces the view.
It's hard to describe the sense of peace that you'll find sitting out here in the early morning or late evening. And you'll be able to enjoy it all day long rain or shine as it's covered protecting you from the elements. Guests savor the sounds of a Summer shower raining down on the metal roof, the rustle of the windthrough Autumn leaves, and the quiet hush of a Winter snowfall. The views can't be resisted as they're changing minute by minute with the passing clouds and with all four seasons.
If you'd like have your meal outdoors while enjoying the sites and sounds, we've provided a dining table for just that purpose. Relax and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner surrounded by the Smokies.
Relaxing evenings or rainy days can be spent here in the Cloudy Dreams game room located on the lower level. There will be plenty to keep you and your kids occupied. First, there's the beautiful Olehausen pool table. Pool sharks and novices alike will love to shoot a game or two while watching a game on the 48" TV. Or perhaps you'd just like to sit back and watch a movie or read a book. You'll find a whole bookcase full of DVDs and books to entertain both adults and children. There's also a game table for playing cards or one of the board games provided. Many fun times with family and friends will be spent here in the game room.
This room also serves as an extra guest room. There is a queen sleeper sofa and a full bath located on this level.
Hot Tub Deck
Exhausted after a long, tiring day of hiking or shopping? Wander onto the lower level deck and step into the hot tub where you can bubble your troubles away. There is also a small sitting area on this deck where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy the mountain view of the Smokies.
