Location…location…location! The chalet is just 2.6 miles away from Traffic Light #10 on the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg. There you'll find casual & fine dining, shopping, and entertainment galore! In the winter skiing, ice skating, and snow tubing can be found at Ober Gatlinburg just 1.5 miles away. Love nature and wildlife?. You may not have to even leave the chalet! Alpenglow Chalet sits just one street back from the Park boundary affording you with an expansive view and local wildlife viewing. Bear, deer, turkey, coyote, squirrel, raccoons, rabbits, chipmunks, and numerous types of birds have all been seen right from our decks. Feeling adventurous? Luxury Accommodation! On the main/entry level you’ll find two luxurious, wildlife / mountain themed King suites each with its own full bath. These bedrooms are spacious and each has its own Roku Smart TV, DVD player, full dresser, and walk-in closet. Open your eyes each morning to a full view of the mountains right from your bed. Sneak out onto the main deck with a cup of coffee through your suite’s own door each morning. Even late risers may find early morning to be one of their favorite times at the chalet! The great room is situated between these two suites and is outfitted with two comfortable over-sized recliners and a loveseat with recliners to kick back in and enjoy the gas fireplace or 50” TV. Here you’ll also find the fully stocked kitchen and dining table for six. The entire back of this room also has wall to wall windows to the scenery with a door beckoning you onto the deck. Ready to have some fun? Downstairs on the lower level you'll find plenty of activities for old and young alike. There's an Olehausen pool table, a 55” flat screen TV that's great for watching movies or sporting events, and an unbelievable collection of movies, books & board games. We’ve even provided a game table for your use. A pull-out sofa for the kids and another full bath add additional accommodations. Step out onto the lower level deck to find the enticing hot tub with its own view of the mountains. Owner’s Club Benefits: When you stay with us you’ll have full access to three owner’s clubs. The closest one, South Baden Clubhouse, is 1.6 miles away. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool with two diving boards, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis courts, paved walking trail, foosball table, pool tables, ping pong tables, and a playground. The clubs are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Memorial Day through Labor Day (closed on Mondays for maintenance). The tennis courts are open year round. There’s even a private banquet room available for you to rent for your event. With the Owner’s Club pass you’ll find at the chalet, you’ll receive discounts at some area restaurants and attractions. Rent by owner! Most importantly, when you rent the Alpenglow Chalet, you rent directly from the owners. We treat this vacation rental like a second home. It is lovingly maintained and upgraded. You’ll be able to reach us day or night for questions about the chalet or about the area and what there is to do. When you rent from us, you become part of our rental family.
